Pratt & Whitney Model 210 -
Torsion Testing Machine
|
|
The design used in the Model 210
torsion testing machine is basically the same as the
universal test machine except that a "clockwise/counterclockwise"
motion is used instead of linear compression and tension.
|
|
|
Depending on the model, machines
include a computer with control software for the visualization
and storage of the data, or a digital readout for simple
tests. |
|
The units of measure
are modified for this application - reporting Nm and
degrees of angle. The software reports all characteristics
of torsion testing. |

| Many measurement ranges are available
- from a few Nm up to 10,000 Nm. The rotation speeds are
matched to the requirements. These machines are assembled
using a modular system to satisfy customer needs. |
