Pratt and Whitney Roundness Gage PWMS-800T
|

The PWMS-800T is a high profile gage designed for
piece part and stack prediction. Four gages are used
simultaneously to measure out-of-roundness,
concentricity, perpendicularity, runout, flatness
and parallelism of parts up to 32”in diameter and
1000 lbs. The operator is able to inspect individual
components in a typical compressor assembly and
predict the stack alignment to achieve an optimal
final tolerance. Predicting system stack minimizes
the unbalance in a final balance procedure,
significantly reducing the overall time spent in
final assembly.

- Windows® based software measures each piece part
and stores data for use in a stack prediction.
- Heavy-duty modular components, including a
precision air bearing spindle, tilt and centering
worktable, rigid gage posts and gage arms.
- Industrial grade computer, digital I/O
interface, gaging board and monitor housed within an
air-conditioned electrical cabinet
- All components are secured to a tool room grade
granite plate with adjustable isolation mounts.
